Fun, outgoing, and ambitious! Karina is a host, entertainment journalist, content creator, and radio personality who loves all things pop culture. The 24-year-old is a graduate from Winthrop University with a B.A. degree in Communications. Karina is passionate about storytelling and covering stories about people from all walks of life.
At a young age, the South Carolina native had a fascination with cameras. She always imagined what happened behind the scenes when watching a movie or television series growing up, and how these stories came to life. "Who was calling the shots? What is it like rehearsing and dancing behind the scenes? I want to do that." With a vibrant personality and wandering mind, Karina knew she wanted to be in front of the camera storytelling and behind the camera bringing the story to life.

Now, Karina is informing and delivering news to her community as a radio personality on Hot 98.1 with Summit Media in Greenville, SC. She hopes to inspire the youth with her journey and love for entertaining. She has also created her own lane in the entertainment industry with her IG LIVE segment, Kickin' It With Karina. With this platform, Karina wishes to interview many people of many professions to share their stories to the world and connect.

What's next? In addition to radio and her new segment, she wants to master and honor the craft of journalism by studying it and becoming a better journalist, not just for herself, but to lead by a great example for others.
